Since 1998, my passion for finding property values has grown into a thriving business. Thank you for trusting my experience and expertise with your investment.
1998 | Began my appraisal service in South Dakota
2000 | Moved to Bozeman to work as an appraiser for the Forest Service
2002 | Became a Certified General Appraiser
2007 | Started my own appraisal business
2007 | Designated an Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA). This designation is awarded to members who have completed the required educational hours required, have passed a rigid examination and subscribe to a high code of ethics.
The ARA seal next to my name is a BIG DEAL. It means I know my stuff when it comes to performing your real estate appraisal! It is the highest designation a real estate appraiser can achieve.
I am proud of this accomplishment because it shows my dedication to you, my clients and to the AG community. I believe in what I do and the industry I represent and support.
An appraiser who receives the ARA designation from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA), is trained and tested to ensure they are equipped with the tools necessary to track a wide spectrum of real estate valuation assignments. The ARA designation is only available through the ASFMRA after a candidate successfully demonstrates competence through course work, experience, work review and a comprehensive exam.
The ARA conducts valuation work on wide range of property types that exist in rural parts of the country. These properties are often among the most complex properties from a valuation standpoint and require a sophisticated valuation expert to properly appraise them.
